You will report to the Regional Sales Manager for the Montréal Island territory, selling our low‑voltage electrical distribution solutions (1000V and below) to a customer base primarily made up of contractors.This position consists of 80% prospecting and 20% existing accounts. You will have the choice of using an ABB fleet vehicle or your own vehicle with reimbursement for associated expenses.This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as an in‑depth understanding of sales processes, customer relationship management, and the ability to drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets.Responsibilities:Sales and customer relations: Sell products/services and maintain effective relationships with customers to understand their needs and propose suitable solutions.Customer experience and communication: Ensure a positive customer experience and communicate details regarding delivery, payments, and conditions.Sales planning and strategy execution: Prepare sales plans and work closely with segment managers, marketing, and the distribution systems sales manager to execute regional strategies.Value creation and market opportunities: Create added value for customers and ABB, identify new market opportunities, and ensure the effectiveness of marketing activities.Administrative and analytical support: Analyze sales data and trends, and develop customer relationships.Qualifications:2 to 5 years of sales experience, ideally within large, innovative, fast‑paced organizations involving electrical distribution productsFluency in spoken and written French required, and functional EnglishStrong problem‑solving and learning abilities, with the capacity to manage shifting priorities and challengesResults‑oriented, able to work well under pressure and tight deadlinesEntrepreneurial mindset and excellent communication skillsWhy ABB?We empower you to take initiative, challenge ideas, and lead with confidence.
