Medical Excellence & Ethics comprises Global Nom Sig, Medical Information & Communications, Field Medical Strategy & Performance, Medical Capabilities (including Scientific Training) and Medical Platforms & Reporting.About the role:Working within Medical Excellence & Ethics, the Medical Information & Communications Operations Lead will be accountable for operation, management and evolution of our core Medical Information solutions, including AZMedical external websites, Docuvera for content authoring, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) for content publishing, Vault MedComms for content review & approval and GMIP for Medical Information Requests. The role requires a deep understanding of Medical Information strategy to ensure that solutions are effective, optimised and integrated, to provide internal visibility of content usage & localisation, and an external view of content exposure by channel.The role collaborates closely with Medical Excellence & Ethics, cross-functional partners and with Reporting & Analytics colleagues to ensure platform priorities are aligned with broader medical strategy.Roles & Responsibilities:Establish strong strategic relationships and act as point contact across key stakeholders, to develop a deep understanding of the business needs from our Medical Information solutionsManage Business as Usual (BAU) activity to support and maintain our suite of MI solutionsHost and manage regular Change Control Board (CCB) meetings to define enhancement and fix prioritisation, taking the ultimate decision-making roleCoordinate communications & change management to deploy and ensure adoption of enhanced functionality across systemsWork within regions and markets to identify specific legal / compliance requirementsMonitor solution licence estate and flag potential issues before impact is seenPartner with stakeholders and Commercial IT to ensure downstream reporting requirements are accommodated in the platformsWork to align market and regional requirements with global strategyManage business relationship with key cross-functional stakeholdersBe a champion of technology and innovation; identify industry leading solutions to meet evolving challenges and user requirementsAdopt a collaborative, cross functional working culture to ensure enterprise alignmentRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in medical or science discipline or relevant business experienceSignificant experience with global systems deployed across multiple countriesStrong project management skills. Proficiency in stakeholder engagement and managementExcellent spoken and written English3 years+ medical experience in the pharmaceutical, commercial or business environmentsDesirable skills & experience:Experience working with and managing 3rd party vendorsIn-depth knowledge of medical affairs with experience of working across global, regional and local networksUnderstanding of the development and commercialization of pharmaceutical productsGreat People want to Work with us!
