- Partner with demand generation and product teams to develop highly targeted email campaigns, email nurture series, content, and product inquiries campaigns.
- Devise new email strategies on an ongoing basis to improve overall channel performance, including creative optimization, A/B testing, developing automated and triggered campaigns.
- Proactively research and implement the latest best practices, strategies, and industry standards.
- Design, build, and execute email campaigns, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
- Implement A/B testing to optimize email content, subject lines, and calls-to-action for maximum effectiveness.
- Leverage dynamic content and personalization features within Marketo to enhance campaign relevance.
- Ensure email messages are properly constructed to adhere to industry best practices, deliverability, mobile rendering, open rates, etc.
- Manage and segment email lists for targeted communication based on customer profiles, behaviors, and preferences.
- Work closely with the marketing and analytics teams to identify and define target audiences.
- Directly manage the ingestion of lists from various sources on an ongoing basis.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to optimize future campaigns.
- Implement tracking and attribution methodologies to measure the impact of email marketing efforts on overall business goals.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a similar role directly in the Marketo platform. Marketo certification a plus.
- Previous ownership of end-to-end Marketo program creation including emails, nurture programs, and related landing pages.
- Knowledge of email marketing concepts, best practices, and industry standards, CAN-SPAM laws, content creation, list management and targeting, knowledge of dynamic content and campaign automation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Experience with Salesforce CRM software helpful.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint preferred.
