IDC has been recognized for four consecutive years (2020, 2021, 2022, 2023) by the IIAR as the which is one of the highest accolades for the technology market research industry.ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in email marketing strategy, hands-on experience with the Marketo platform, and a proven track record of executing successful email campaigns that drive engagement and conversion rates. Key responsibilities include:
  • Partner with demand generation and product teams to develop highly targeted email campaigns, email nurture series, content, and product inquiries campaigns.
  • Devise new email strategies on an ongoing basis to improve overall channel performance, including creative optimization, A/B testing, developing automated and triggered campaigns.
  • Proactively research and implement the latest best practices, strategies, and industry standards.
  • Design, build, and execute email campaigns, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
  • Implement A/B testing to optimize email content, subject lines, and calls-to-action for maximum effectiveness.
  • Leverage dynamic content and personalization features within Marketo to enhance campaign relevance.
  • Ensure email messages are properly constructed to adhere to industry best practices, deliverability, mobile rendering, open rates, etc.
  • Manage and segment email lists for targeted communication based on customer profiles, behaviors, and preferences.
  • Work closely with the marketing and analytics teams to identify and define target audiences.
  • Directly manage the ingestion of lists from various sources on an ongoing basis.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to optimize future campaigns.
  • Implement tracking and attribution methodologies to measure the impact of email marketing efforts on overall business goals.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a similar role directly in the Marketo platform. Marketo certification a plus.
  • Previous ownership of end-to-end Marketo program creation including emails, nurture programs, and related landing pages.
  • Knowledge of email marketing concepts, best practices, and industry standards, CAN-SPAM laws, content creation, list management and targeting, knowledge of dynamic content and campaign automation.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM software helpful.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint preferred.
