- Accurate completion of billing and opening and closing of the café.
- Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients depending on the individual needs of the customer.
- You are detail-oriented, customer-focused, and have a strong drive to succeed.
- Provides the highest quality beverages, service and food consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards.
- Maintaining a calm demeanor during periods of high volume, to keep the cafe operating to standards and to set a positive example for the team.
- Café servers maybe be expected to assist in other areas of our food & beverage operation.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment.
- Stock customer service stations with paper products or beverage preparation items.
- Minimum of one year of serving experience in a café or coffee shop.
- Have a valid ProServe certification.
- Must have a passion for coffee.
- Independent and self-motivated.
- Have a strong ability to multi-task and organize, produce accurate work.
- Previous customer service experience is preferred.
- Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, afternoons, weekends, and/or holidays.
- Personal days: 5 per year after 90 days of continued full-time employment
