- Serve as the customer’s on-site technical representative (“boots on the ground”) at the supplier facility, overseeing satellite- and constellation-level AI&T execution to ensure compliance with approved methodologies, plans, and requirements.
- Conduct continuous review of AI&T documentation, including test plans, procedures, reports, and verification matrices, providing formal technical assessments, feedback, and approval recommendations.
- Witness and govern critical integration milestones and environmental test campaigns, including Thermal Vacuum (TVAC), Thermal Balance (TBAL), Vibration/Acoustic, and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) testing.
- Act as first-line manager for Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and anomalies, supporting or leading Failure Review Boards (FRBs) to ensure robust root-cause analysis and effective corrective action implementation.
- Monitor AI&T production schedules, identify emerging risks or bottlenecks, and provide regular status, risk assessments, and schedule forecasts to customer program and engineering leadership.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the customer’s remote engineering team and the supplier’s AI&T organization, facilitating technical clarifications, issue resolution, and coordination of design or process changes.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance (QA) and Mission Assurance teams to enforce compliance with cleanliness, handling, ESD, and Foreign Object Debris (FOD) control requirements in controlled cleanroom environments.
- Participate in and support Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs), Mission Readiness Reviews (MRRs), and other program gate reviews, ensuring facilities, personnel, procedures, and Ground Support Equipment (GSE) are ready to proceed.
- Oversee readiness and configuration control of Electrical and Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE/MGSE), including calibration status and operational performance.
- Operate effectively within an international, cross-cultural environment while managing logistics associated with flight hardware handling, material transfers, and inventory control.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience supporting spacecraft AI&T, integration, test, or mission assurance for satellite programs.
- Demonstrated experience overseeing supplier-led AI&T activities and serving as a customer technical authority.
- Hands-on experience with environmental testing campaigns (TVAC, vibration, acoustic, EMC).
- Experience managing anomalies, NCRs, and participation in Failure Review Boards.
- Strong understanding of cleanroom operations, ESD controls, and FOD prevention practices.
- Experience reviewing and approving technical documentation related to integration and verification.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical issues and recommendations to diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment, including extended on-site assignments.
- Must be eligible to access export-controlled information in accordance with U.S. Government regulations.
- Experience supporting satellite constellation programs or high-rate production environments.
- Familiarity with international supplier environments and cross-border hardware logistics.
- Experience with customer oversight roles on commercial or hybrid commercial/government programs.
- Working proficiency in French to support technical coordination at the supplier facility.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related STEM discipline required.
- Master’s degree preferred.
