This role is available to candidates in either Vancouver or Toronto.The Team:Strategy & Operations sits at the center of our business. Our team is broadly responsible for establishing our corporate strategy in partnership with the C Suite, Product, Corporate Development, and Finance as well as scaling Clio’s operating rhythm as the company grows. As a Strategy & Operations Associate, you will support the development of long term business strategy, build business / investment cases, and support our business review rituals to measure business performance, seize opportunities, and course correct as needed. You will bring an objective eye, outside thinking, and a holistic company perspective to the domain experts / leaders at Clio.Who you are:You have experience working cross functionally, enjoy a love for problem solving in collaboration with others, and possess an innate curiosity and excitement in navigating ambiguity. You’re looking to join a high impact, hard working team that will undoubtedly grow you professionally.What you’ll work on:Support research on new expansion opportunities through market sizing, assessing the competitive landscape, collaborating on product strategy & differentiation, establishing go-to-market business fundamentals, and modeling the financialsSupport product strategy by building long range strategic plans and supporting product operations & analytics to assess and manage performance as well as R&D ROISynthesize cross functional research & analysis, summarize strategic insights to develop business cases, and help incubate and scale new opportunitiesSupport execution on partnership opportunities to support early stage expansionOwn portions of our data reporting and analysis to support our weekly, month, quarterly business reportingProvide general analytical support for operational and strategic decisions across the CompanyOperate as an embedded strategic management consultant and resource for our senior leadersWhat experience you have:2-4 years work experience in a relevant field (e.g. management consulting, investment banking, strategy & operations, business development)Experience with business modeling, market sizing, and competitive landscapingStrong focus on strategic thinking and analytical problem solvingStrong interpersonal skills; excellent written and verbal communicatorSelf-motivated, independent, and deadline-orientedExperience in measuring and evaluating performance across multiple business functionsStrong ability to query, analyze, and synthesize insights using a variety of datasetsSerious bonus points if you have:MBADirect experience with a vertical SaaS companyInternational expansion experienceWhat you will find here:Compensation is one of the main components of Clio’s Total Rewards Program. Additionally, benefit offerings may differ depending on the employee's location.*We aim to hire all candidates between the minimum and the midpoint of the full salary range. We reserve the midpoint to the maximum of the salary band for internal employees who demonstrate sustained high performance and impact at Clio. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on individual experience and skillset of the candidate.
