About the Opportunity
  • Answer door for visitors and contact who they are here to see
  • Answer door for deliveries and sign for and deliver package(s) to correct ship to attention
  • Log RBC interest info daily into Excel file for Accounting.
  • Update company approved phone list with Bell’s current pricing monthly
  • Check employee phone renewal status upon request, send them current pricing list and order new phones if applicable for employees upon manager’s approval
  • Help employees with any phone issues and contact Bell for advice when necessary i.e.: battery issues, lost phone
  • Contact Bell with porting information for employees leaving company
  • Contact Bell to cancel or suspend any phone lines from companies account upon request
  • Schedule any transport/courier pickups for warehouse and outside.
  • Track transport/courier shipments for warehouse and outside divisions.
  • Check transport/courier driver’s ETA for deliveries and pickups.
  • Answer phone and direct calls to correct recipients or advise caller of correct number to call.
  • Enter any cheques received into log and give cheque to Accounting to e-deposit or take to PO on my way home
  • Check office supply cupboard, do up PO and order supplies from Office Central when needed and put away when received i.e.: pens, post its, paper, markers
  • Do up PO and order warehouse supplies when requested i.e.: paper, tape, labels, gloves
  • Do up PO’s for computer equipment for IT department
  • File carrier BOL’s from warehouse in cabinet
  • Box up, label and log carrier files for year end
  • Apply postage to any outgoing mail and deliver to the post office (on my way home)
  • Contact Regency Coffee for cream, milk, sugar, coffee beans, tea
  • Work with carriers and Cass to resolve unpaid invoices and accounts on hold due to nonpayment
  • Upload divisional Cass charges to Excel spreadsheet and send to appropriate divisions.
  • Allocate charges for the different business units and send to staff member
  • 24. Order business cards when requested
About You:
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Basic excel skills
  • 3+ years of general administrative duties
