- Carry out, from an assembly book, the assembly of sub-assemblies and structural assemblies of airframes and aircraft systems
- Adapt your work to various types of assembly: fuselage assembly, aircraft cockpit and different types of components
- Use manual or automated machines and tools depending on the work to be done
- Ensure, by various means of control, the conformity of the assemblies in relation to the assembly specifications.
- Maintain the work area in a clean and safe condition;
- Typically 5 years of experience in assembly.
- Sheet metal A/C Tech school or equivalent schooling
- Ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings
- Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and / or aircraft status
- Own Basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate Inventory & control of tools
- Ability to work unscheduled overtime including nonscheduled work days and holidays
- Ability to work in seasonal/inclement weather outside
