- Support the daily operations of all Food & Beverage outlets to ensure consistent service quality and guest satisfaction.
- Provide hands-on leadership during service periods, supporting the team and assisting with floor operations when required.
- Ensure service standards and brand expectations are consistently met across all outlets.
- Monitor guest feedback and resolve concerns promptly to maintain a positive guest experience.
- Assist with the planning and execution of banquets and special events as required.
- Support recruitment, training, and development of Food & Beverage team members.
- Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and mentorship to supervisors and service staff.
- Assist in maintaining a positive, safe, and engaging work environment that promotes teamwork and accountability.
- Participate in performance evaluations and disciplinary processes when required.
- Lead by example by demonstrating professionalism, service excellence, and strong leadership on the floor.
- Assist with managing departmental labour costs through effective scheduling and staffing strategies.
- Support inventory management, purchasing, and cost control initiatives.
- Ensure accurate cash handling procedures, daily cash reconciliation, and financial reporting are followed.
- Oversee and verify daily duebacks and financial discrepancies, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
- Monitor and process gratuity distribution and tip reconciliation to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Assist with payroll review and submission, including verifying staff hours, tip allocations, and resolving payroll discrepancies.
- Ensure proper record keeping for all financial and operational documentation.
- Assist with tracking departmental performance, including sales, labour costs, and productivity metrics.
- Contribute ideas and initiatives that drive revenue growth and enhance guest experiences.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards, and all health and safety regulations.
- Maintain a strong focus on workplace safety and actively support Health & Safety initiatives.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are upheld in all guest and service areas.
- Support the implementation and ongoing review of operational policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, leadership meetings, and Food & Beverage planning meetings.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences across the property.
- Communicate operational updates, service expectations, and team goals effectively.
- Minimum 2 years supervisory or leadership experience in a high-volume hospitality environment.
- Serving It Right Certification required.
- WSET Wine Certification (Intermediate) or equivalent considered an asset.
- Experience with restaurant and hospitality systems including Squirrel POS, OpenTable reservation management, and Moneris payment processing systems preferred.
- Strong leadership and team development skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
