The University of WinnipegDepartment of GeographyProbationary Assistant Professor in Climate Change Studies and ScienceThe Department of Geography at The University of Winnipeg invites applications for a probationary appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, in accordance with The University of Winnipeg Faculty Association Collective Agreement (2020-2027). Subject to budgetary approval, the date of appointment is anticipated to be July 1, 2026.Applicants are expected to hold a Ph.D. with a focus on climate change science and/or studies, with demonstrated connections to climate change research. The successful candidate will have a strong record of research, a demonstrated commitment to teaching and mentorship, with expertise to teach undergraduate and graduate Geography courses. Postdoctoral or equivalent experience is considered an asset.
