
Material Handler (afternoon shift)

- Identify, label, and place materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.
- Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
- Maintain in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
- Document materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units.
- Receive credit-return material and supplies from production by verifying materials and supplies code and lot number and quantity; placing materials in stock.
- Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
- Document product shipment by recording units shipped.
- Maintain material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections; making operator repairs.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Completion of a High School Diploma or Vocational Equivalent.
- Three years’ experience of electronic assembly an asset.
- Knowledge of electronic components and electronic assembly an asset.
- Familiar with touch screen data entering and scanning.
- Familiar with ISO and IPC standards an asset.
- Good interpersonal and communication (verbal & written English) skills.
- Ability to focus attention on details and a high level of accuracy skills.
- Must be reliable.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines.
- Ability to maintain confidential information in a professional manner.
- Ability/willingness to learn on the job new skills through training.
