Our unwavering commitment to North American manufacturing enables us to offer the highest quality and best competitive value across our vast range of products and solutions.Summary:We are searching for a Material Handler that maintains production and distribution of product by pulling orders from inventory; delivering production materials and supplies; staging finished product. The job involves frequent physical activity, including lifting up to 50 lbs, constant walking and standing, regular bending and reaching.This is a full time permanent role, afternoon shift, based out of our branch in Pointe Claire, QC.Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify, label, and place materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.
  • Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
  • Maintain in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
  • Document materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units.
  • Receive credit-return material and supplies from production by verifying materials and supplies code and lot number and quantity; placing materials in stock.
  • Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
  • Document product shipment by recording units shipped.
  • Maintain material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections; making operator repairs.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Requirements and Skills:
  • Completion of a High School Diploma or Vocational Equivalent.
  • Three years’ experience of electronic assembly an asset.
  • Knowledge of electronic components and electronic assembly an asset.
  • Familiar with touch screen data entering and scanning.
  • Familiar with ISO and IPC standards an asset.
  • Good interpersonal and communication (verbal & written English) skills.
  • Ability to focus attention on details and a high level of accuracy skills.
  • Must be reliable.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information in a professional manner.
  • Ability/willingness to learn on the job new skills through training.
