Responsibilities include providing financial support and insights to drive operational efficiency and profitability, and managing financial planning, forecasting, and analysis for a specific business area. Lead supply chain finance activities, including cost management, capital spend analysis, and inventory optimization. Collaborate with supply chain and quality teams to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure alignment with financial objectives. Analyze production costs, monitor and control budgets, and identify cost-saving opportunities. Work with plant managers and other operational leaders to develop financial plans, forecast production expenses, and assess the financial impact of manufacturing processes. Maintain quality standards. Ensure accurate financial reporting and support capital expenditure projects. Provide financial analysis and recommendations to inform strategic decision-making. Align financial goals with operational objectives to enhance performance. University degree or college diploma in Finance, Accounting, or related field from an accredited institution Minimum 5 years of finance operations / manufacturing experience, including partnering with senior leaders to achieve successful outcomes focused on strategic planning and business partnerships Minimum 3 years of financial analyst experience for a large, multinational company Data analytics experience (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, etc.) Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without corporate sponsorship now or in the future. No relocation provided for this role. This role requires working onsite at our Edmonton, AB office. Knowledge of federal/provincial laws and regulations regarding taxes. Oracle ERP experience Strong knowledge of effective internal control processes.
