- Measure and stake the gas line in the proper locations
- Ensure that all tees are installed and tested, & tracer wire installed and staked correctly
- Ensure that all deviations from line assignment, changes in fitting location, or requirements are documented for as-built records
- Complete all required pressure testing of ATCO and / or Apex Utilities facilities and submit all approved test documentation at the end of the project; communicate with ATCO and / or Apex Utilities inspectors on-site
- Load, unload, and move construction materials around the worksite, ensuring the worksite is organized and free of clutter, rubble, and garbage

- High School Diploma or G.E.D. is preferred
- ATCO Gas and or Apex Utilities Fusion certification is preferred. A certified Atco and / or Apex Utilities fuser up to 8” for both pipe and tee is a requirement
- Minimum of 1–2 years of Gas Fusing experience, is required
- Ability to complete live gas tie-ins safely and professionally as per ATCO and / or Apex Utilities requirements
- Show an understanding and familiarization of all ATCO and / or Apex Utilities required work procedures
- Demonstrate understanding and the ability to interpret ATCO and / or Apex Utilities gas prints
- Experience with outdoor construction labor and heavy equipment operations is considered an asset
- Physical ability to repetitively lift and carry at least 40 lbs. regularly

- Class 5 Driver's License; clean Driver's Abstract, required
