  • Job Description
As a Senior Hydrogeologist within our team, you will ensure water sustainability for future generations. Your role is a blend of high-level technical expertise and strategic leadership, where you serve as a pillar for large-scale multidisciplinary projects across Ontario and beyond.You will lead critical hydrogeological studies for municipal and industrial water supply while designing and overseeing innovative groundwater systems and advanced wellfield solutions. Beyond the technical scope, you will play a key role in driving integrated solutions through close collaboration with our engineering and infrastructure teams, all while mentoring the next generation of talent and influencing our business development strategies.Responsibilities:
  • Lead hydrogeological studies related to groundwater supply, including aquifer characterization, pumping tests, and resource evaluations.
  • Design and oversee groundwater supply wells and wellfield systems.
  • Modeling & Analysis: Develop and review numerical groundwater flow models (e.g., MODFLOW) to assess long-term system behavior and sustainability.
  • Field Leadership: Plan and supervise complex field investigation programs, including drilling, aquifer characterization, and large-scale pumping tests.
  • Quality & Compliance: Analyze hydrogeological and water quality data to ensure the rigor of technical reports and provincial permit applications.
  • Client Advisory: Act as a trusted partner for our clients, actively participating in project reviews and contributing to strategic proposals.
  • Profile
  • Master's degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, or a related field.
  • Professional designation (P.Geo.) or eligibility in Ontario.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in groundwater and water supply projects.
  • Strong experience in aquifer testing, well design, and groundwater modeling.
  • Knowledge of Ontario regulatory framework (e.g., Permit to Take Water, MECP guidelines, Source Water Protection).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage priorities and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency with hydrogeological tools and software.
