- Work closely with Training teams, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and stakeholders to identify areas where video learning could be impactful, gather content requirements, and develop scripts/storyboards that translate technical information into clear learning video narratives
- Responsible for end-to-end development and execution of learning videos, including planning, shooting, editing, and posting videos using professional-grade equipment and software
- Support various training program groups such as engineering, maintenance, and operations training, ensuring the delivery of quality learning content
- Maintain and update learning videos in accordance with new or revised policies and procedures, ensuring they are accessible and aligned with current standards
- Provide a high level of customer service and communication to the training customer with the goal of maximizing training effectiveness and supporting nuclear safety
- Participate in regular brainstorming sessions, contributing new ideas and ensuring continuous innovation in our learning approach
- Maximizing reliability through good working behaviours and using both nuclear and software industry best practices
- Knowledge of industry standards, trends and regulatory requirements.
- Completion of a four-year university education in an appropriate field such as computer science, adult education, communications, digital media.
- At least 2 years of experience developing effective training content using Adult Learning Principles and Instructional Design methodologies (ADDIE or similar).
- Proficiency in video and audio editing software (e.g. Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro) and export/delivery workflows.
- Hands-on experience with video production equipment and techniques (cameras, lighting, audio), and ability to deliver training videos end-to-end.
- Working experience with multimedia/graphic design using Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, including the use of approved AI tools to support efficient creation and refinement of multimedia assets.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Thorough attention to detail and ability to identify/correct issues to reduce errors and mitigate risks.
- Strong stakeholder collaboration and professionalism: able to work as part of a team, follow governance/procedures, apply sound judgement with minimal supervision, and align deliverables to stakeholder requirements and expectations.
