Adecco is currently hiring an Intermediate Structural Engineer for a full-time opportunity in Thunder Bay, ON. This role is ideal for a motivated structural engineering professional with experience in building and infrastructure design who is looking to take the next step in their career within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.This position involves working on a wide range of commercial, industrial, and residential structural projects, supporting design from concept through to completion. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality engineering solutions, preparing technical documentation, and contributing to project coordination and delivery. The role also includes mentorship opportunities and involvement in proposal development and client-facing technical discussions.Salary: $100,000 - $120,000Location: Thunder Bay, ONSchedule: Monday - FridayContract: Full-time | PermanentVacancy Status: Current vacancyResponsibilitiesLead and support structural design for commercial, industrial, and residential building projectsManage structural components of multi-discipline projects from proposal stage through to completionDevelop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and deliverablesPrepare technical reports, design calculations, drawings, and construction documentsContribute to proposal writing and project planning activitiesCollaborate with engineers, project managers, and multidisciplinary teamsProvide mentorship and technical guidance to junior staff and support personnelParticipate in site visits, field reviews, and construction inspections as requiredEnsure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulationsSupport project coordination, client communication, and design review meetingsRequirementsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on structural engineeringMinimum 5 years of structural engineering experienceStrong technical background in structural analysis, design, and code interpretationExperience with project management, including budgets and schedulingExcellent written and verbal communication skillsEligible for or registered as a Professional Engineer in Ontario (other jurisdictions considered an asset)Ability to work across a variety of project types and industriesWillingness to travel for site visits and fieldwork as requiredValid G driver's license requiredMust be eligible to work and reside within CanadaWhat We OfferOpportunity to work on diverse and challenging structural engineering projectsCollaborative and supportive multidisciplinary team environmentStrong focus on professional growth, learning, and developmentExposure to a wide range of project types across multiple sectorsEmployee-focused culture with emphasis on quality and technical excellenceInterested in this position?
