
Analyst, Advanced Analytics

- Application of choice modelling techniques (MaxDiff, conjoint, and discrete choice experiments) and development of simulators to visualize results.
- Advanced multivariate analyses including, but not limited to, factor analysis, cluster analysis, Bayesian networks, revealed preference models, predictive modeling, and exploratory data analysis.
- Building statistical analysis plans, writing programs to execute analyses, and assisting with interpretation using dynamic reporting in R and Python.
- Generating and presenting impactful data visualizations (e.g., network maps, MDS and correspondence maps) to communicate findings to internal teams and clients when needed.
- Writing automation scripts to streamline routine analytics tasks and elevate the depth and efficiency of insights.
- Proactively researching and presenting opportunities to leverage artificial intelligence (AI) for advanced analytics and insight generation.
- Exploring and testing applications of AI, such as synthetic data generation or other advanced methodologies, to expand Dig's research capabilities.
- Collaborating with Dig colleagues-including software developers and other analytics experts-to develop innovative new methodologies and integrate with platforms via APIs.
- Staying ahead of industry trends, especially in AI, automation, and analytics, and sharing knowledge to grow our collective expertise and capabilities.
- Actively contributing to Dig's curious, collaborative, and engaged culture-always seeking new ways to push our analytical capabilities further.
- University degree (or equivalent combination of education and work experience) in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related sciences. Master's preferred, but not mandatory for exceptional and motivated candidates.
- Minimum 2 years of professional or academic experience with R and/or Python (R familiarity preferred).
- Experience with Bayesian statistics is an asset.
- Familiarity with large language models (LLMs) and AI prompting strategies.
- Strong skills in data manipulation and analysis.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Eagerness and aptitude to quickly learn new software and programming languages as required.
- Additional programming or scripting experience, e.g., web development, C++, or similar, considered an asset.
- Experience working with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
