Job PostingSummary:Our Kitchener facility is looking for new part-time (contract) team members to work in general productionLocation: 560 Victoria Street North. Kitchener, ON. N2H 5G2Wage: $19.00/hrShift: Monday & Friday (overnight)1pm - 1am OR 3pm - 3am

Flexibility for different shift start and end times is required

Responsibilities:

Pick, pack, wrap, sort, and package fresh products into bags and boxes
Work in production/packaging area to make and stack boxes onto pallets and wrap them safely
Inspect filled packages to ensure product is packaged according to specifications
Work in production/packaging area to Wrap and stack bread trays onto pallets and Operate Production Machine as required
Be responsible for equipment set-up and change overs and running production lines as needed for various food products
Assist Machine operators/Mixers/oven captains and crew with other duties as assigned
Work as flex operator to monitor the Production of different production lines
Cover multiple positions depending on vacation and absenteeism need
May assist sanitation crew in the cleanliness of production equipment and area
Ensure all Food Safety and Health & Safety policies and procedures are followed

Qualifications:

Previous food production or manufacturing general labour experience is highly considered
Must be comfortable with lifting up to 50 lbs repetitively and continue walking and standing for a duration of a shift
You have strong people skills—you’re approachable, a good listener, and empathetic
You’re dedicated to the health and safety of yourself and your colleagues
You digest constructive feedback as an opportunity to listen, and improve your skills, abilities, and performance
You are someone who listens to comprehend a situation first, asking questions to clarify your own understanding, instead of listening to be able to reply quickly
