Now, what if we told you the programs also support some of our most vulnerable customers while also advancing GHG reduction targets?This may be the perfect opportunity for you as our Conservation and Energy Management department is looking to hire a Program Manager, Conservation Assistance. You would be part of the multi-talented backbone of Conservation and Energy Management that oversees the long-term strategic direction and day-to-day operations of our team. We need you to take a proactive approach in streamlining processes and engaging stakeholders to ensure our programs continue to push the needle on sustainable energy practices and are easy for our customers to engage with.In this role, you will:
  • Oversee and provide strategic direction and vision for all programs that serve our low-income customers and social housing providers including marketing, contract and legal matters, risk and safety assessments, program development, operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Build, train and support a Conservation Assistance team within our Program Development department and oversee competitive bidding processes for external supporting contractors.
  • Build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
What it takes:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering or related discipline from a recognized program, plus a minimum of five years of recent, related experience with demonstrated success.
  • A proven track record of building relationships in complex work environments.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skillset.
  • An ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with complex processes.
  • A ‘get it done right’ and ‘can do’ perspective that fosters strengthened relationships through every engagement.
  • Previous experience with delivering and communicating Demand Side Management programs and working in a regulated utility would be an asset.
