We are hiring a talented Regional Account Manager- Atlantic Canada to join our team.The role of Stanfield’s Regional Account Manager- Atlantic Canada is the direct link between Stanfield’s and the customer. In this position you will be responsible for maintaining, creating, and growing the customer base within Atlantic Canada for our Stanfield’s, Stanfield’s FR, Life Liners, Elita and Hot Chilly’s brands.What we can guarantee is you won't be bored. From there, we’ll trust you to do what it takes to deliver outstanding results.Key Responsibilities:
  • Sell and maintain customer relationships for Independent and specialty retailers in Atlantic Canada including NS, NB, PEI and NFLD by growing sales within existing accounts, expanding customer contacts, identifying and developing new opportunities at a level consistent with or exceeding company expectations. (This will include a large, pre-existing customer base.)
  • Develop long-lasting, quality relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Attend all regional trade shows – Spry and others.
  • Travel the territory in booking season as required.
  • Work on special projects and Business development opportunities within region and out of region as defined by VP of Sales.
  • PPE Business Development with NSHA, NBHA and PEIHA
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders in an organized, clear and concise manner to effectively express ideas, plans, actions and projects to support customer needs.
  • Establish customer and market priorities to execute a strategic course of action to accomplish sales goals.
  • Develop and implement account penetration strategies, including regular business review for key customers to maximize sales.
  • Understand each customer’s sales needs and objectives and provide technical and sales support.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Provide market/customer research and feedback
  • Adherence to company sales and pricing guidelines.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Education:
  • College/University degree in the area of Business, Marketing, or related field preferred. Or 3+ years outside Sales Representative/Sales Account Manager experience.
Skills and Experience:
  • Intermediate computer skills in MS Office suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and outlook.
  • Ability to thrive both independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), problem-solving and presentation skills are a must.
  • Highly Self-motivated, detail-oriented and hardworking.
  • Excellent time and territory management skills.
  • Overnight travel required within Canada and the US (If required for trade shows or business development)
  • Valid Driver’s license.
Working Conditions
  • Travel Requirements: Occasional travel/overnight travel within Canada and US required, up to 20%
  • Physical Environment: Little to no exposure to disagreeable elements. Office and Plant environments
  • Physical Demand: Almost all activities are of low to medium physical intensity
  • Mental Effort: Moderate intensity with occasional higher levels of mental effort.
