Start Date: September 2025The Human Resources Coordinator plays an integral role in the administration of the School’s human resources. Together with others at the School, they will work towards enhancing organizational culture and improving employee satisfaction.Through the lens of our current strategic commitments, the Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for the following:

- Constructing and Maintaining Business-as-usual Systems and Structures.
- Building Equitable Systems and Strong Community Belonging.
- Human resources is complex, requiring an understanding of regulatory requirements, best practices, the School and the employee.
- Human resources matters often require a high degree of discretion and confidentiality.
- As part of a small Operations team, I will be required to prioritize and pivot from administrative to strategic projects.
- Having a degree in Human Resources and/or the CHRP designation is highly desirable for this position.
- Demonstrate a working understanding of the Employment Standards Act and best practices in human resources, learning and payroll administration.
- Draft accurate employment contracts, occasionally under limited time constraints.
- Maintain and update School Operational and Employee policies by staying abreast of new legislature and best practice.
- Use HRIS/Ceridian to provide administrative support to full-time, part-time and contract staff.
- Play a growing role in the development of the School’s Human Resources strategy.
- Administer compliance with the Employment Standards Act, other legislature and internal policies.
- Manage the administration of recruitment, on-boarding, off-boarding process.
- Work independently and collaboratively with staff, faculty and others in the School Community.
- Maintain confidentiality as expected and required.
