Are you a skilled Forklift Operator with experience on a Raymond Reach and Walkie? Our client, a premier distribution center in Milton, Ontario, is looking for versatile team members to join their manufacturing & logistics operations. As a Forklift Operator, you will do more than just drive; you will be an integral part of the fulfillment cycle, handling everything from order picking to packing and RF scanning. This role offers a competitive wage of $21 per hour with both Day and Afternoon shifts available.Working within the manufacturing & logistics division, you will be responsible for navigating the distribution center safely while meeting high productivity standards. Your day-to-day will involve a hybrid of equipment operation and manual logistics tasks, ensuring that every order is picked accurately and packed securely for shipment. Afternoons: Sunday to Thursday 4:45pm to 1:15amPay - $21.00

Responsibilities
  • Operate a Raymond Reach forklift and Walkie (Electric Pallet Jack) to move materials throughout the distribution center.
  • Perform high-reach order picking in narrow aisles with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Execute packing duties, ensuring products are labeled correctly and protected for transit.
  • Utilize RF scanning technology to track inventory movements and update the warehouse management system.
  • Load and unload shipping containers and trailers using manufacturing & logistics best practices.
  • Conduct pre-shift inspections on all equipment to ensure a safe Forklift Operator environment.
  • Assist in manual palletizing and shrink-wrapping as part of the daily distribution center workflow.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to uphold safety standards within manufacturing & logistics.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of experience operating a Raymond Reach and Walkie.
  • Prior experience in order picking and packing in a distribution center.
  • Comfort using RF scanning tools for the duration of a shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Valid forklift certification is required for this manufacturing & logistics role.
  • Proven track record of reliability and punctuality.
  • Must be available for full-time hours in Milton, Ontario.
