Shift and Hours of Work: 1.0 FTE-Full-time-Various Hours
Pay Scale: As per CUPE Collective Agreement
Specifications: Assignment and hours of work are subject to change at any time as per operational requirements.
Closing Date: Open until FilledRequired QualificationsEducation and Experience:
- Grade XII;
- Valid Manitoba or Inter-provincial 4th Class Power Engineer Certificate
- Certification and experience in other related trades would be an asset i.e. electrical, plumbing, painting, refrigeration, carpentry and HVAC;
- One to two years related experience in a health care facility of related setting an asset; and
- Experience and/or education in the use of personal computers.
- Ability to communicate in both official language (French and English);
- Must be mechanically inclined, able to work autonomously, be flexible and capable of adapting to change;
- Must be in good mental and physical health to meet the requirements of the job;
- Initiative and judgment to organize and maintain flow of work and accuracy of records;
- Ability to organize and establish priorities regarding workload;
- Must be punctual, very dependable and safety minded;
- A valid driver's license is required;
- Must be able to perform any other related duties;
- Ability to demonstrate a satisfactory employment record, including attendance;
- Current Criminal Record Check for the Vulnerable Sector and Adult Abuse Registry Check deemed satisfactory by the Employer.
- Workplace Health and Safety and safe work practices; and
- W.H.M.I.S. program.
