Full-Time – MOA position at busy physiotherapy clinic – Monday to Friday: am and pm shifts (Burnaby)M.O.A. Position (Burnaby)We are a busy Physiotherapy and Hand Therapy clinic looking for a mature, enthusiastic, positive, professional and independent M.O.A. This is a full-time position (28-32 hours/week). The clinic is open from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm Monday to Friday and Saturdays 7:00-2:00 pm. The prospective candidate will need to have flexibility to work Monday to Thursday/Friday6:30 am -12: pm or 8:00 am- 2:30 pm or 1:30 pm-8:00 pm and cover occasionally Saturday shifts as needed. The job will begin as soon as possible.Job Requirement:
  • M.O.A. Certificate (preferred)
  • 2 years minimum experience as an M.O.A. in a Health Professional’s Office and/or experience in a Physiotherapy Clinic is preferred
  • Knowledge of EMR- JANE is an asset
The candidate must have excellent customer service and communication skills. The candidate must learn quickly, possess strong time management and organizational abilities, be proficient at handling tasks with or without supervision, be innovative and be excited by growth and change.Duties include, but not limited to:
  • Regular MO.OA. duties, including reception work, WSBC, ICBC, MDP and third-party billings, general bookkeeping, handling of cash, receipts and deposits
  • Collection of Outstanding Accounts (A.R.), daily rejection, remittances
  • Providing excellence in customer service bot to colleagues and patients
