Brucejack is a fly-in/fly-out operation with pick-up points across Western Canada, making it easy for people from different places to join us. The committee also plans holiday decorations, charity raffles, and outdoor events, helping create a warm and friendly community.We’re connecting with skilled miners now to support upcoming opportunities at Brucejack MineYour impactWhen opportunities become available, you will support safe and efficient underground production by performing blasting support activities and ensuring explosives are handled and documented in full compliance with site and regulatory standards.As part of our team you willDemonstrate strong safety leadership and comply with blasting and site regulationsClean, inspect, and load production holes according to approved blast designsSafely handle, transport, store, and account for explosives and detonatorsMaintain underground explosive magazine inventory and documentationConduct hazard assessments prior to blasting activitiesOperate underground mobile and support equipment as requiredComplete pre-start inspections and basic equipment maintenanceAccurately maintain blast records, logs, and shift reportsPrerequisites for your success in this roleHigh School Diploma (or equivalent)Valid Class 5 Driver’s LicenseActive BC Blasting TicketExperience with underground blasting practices and explosives regulationsHeavy equipment experience (underground preferred)Strong safety mindset and attention to detailAbility to pass a pre-employment medicalPhysically able to work 12-hour underground shifts and lift up to 50 lbsYour work environmentRemote, camp-based setting at Brucejack Mine13 days on / 13 days off rotation (with travel days)Rotating day/night shifts, including weekendsUnderground mining environment requiring full PPEWork performed in varying weather and ground conditionsIf you feel that you could make a meaningful contribution in this role, we encourage you to discuss this opportunity with your current people leader and how it aligns with your longer term career goals.
