The initiative focused on replacing legacy tools (e.g., Microfocus) with ServiceNow's enterprise monitoring and event management capabilities, improving visibility, automation, and operational efficiency.Responsibilities:Assist with ServiceNow Event Management ImplementationAssist with ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping in relation to Event ManagementAssist with end to end development support on the implementation of ServiceNow Event ManagementFollow ServiceNow development and documentation standardsAssist with Integration of various data sources to ServiceNow Event Management moduleAssist with running technical design workshops with client related to Event Management, Discovery, Service MappingAct as a lead developer and own all development activities and complete all user storiesProvide thought leadership, industry leading practices for Event ManagementQualifications:Strong proficiency in JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow scripting.Deep understanding of ITOM modules: Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management.Experience with CMDB design and maintenance.Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and hybrid environments.ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).Certified Implementation Specialist (ITOM).Optional: Certifications in Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and IntegrationHub.RESTful and SOAP web services.Knowledge of orchestration and automation frameworks.
