Additionally, working and living in the beautiful Okanagan offers an exceptional opportunity for work-life balance, a comfortable pace of life and a wide range of after-work activities.Role OverviewThe Inventory Control Clerk assists with all areas of inventory and is responsible for supporting kitting production batches, packaging, stocking, and overall inventory control. Additionally, this position is responsible for assisting with packaging and processing of all AEM shipments.What You'll Be Doing
  • Maintaining Inventory accuracy and organization.
  • Assembling kits and recording shortages under mentorship of an experienced Kitter.
  • Reviewing incoming inventory and issuing shortages immediately.
  • Performing inventory cycle counts and stock adjustments.
  • Tracking, investigating and correcting any inventory discrepancies.
  • Assisting with shipping duties (may require heavy lifting <50lbs)
  • Opening and closing work orders. Validating accuracy on the WO.
  • Utilizing the kit schedule to prioritize kitting board.
  • Preparing required shipping documents
  • Maintaining inventories of boxes and packaging materials
  • Working as part of a team.
  • Performing all duties per the applicable Quality Program Procedure
What You'll Bring
  • High school education or equivalent is required.
  • Ability to do some heavy lifting (<50lbs)
  • Energy to successfully multi-task competing priorities and maintain accuracy in a busy environment.
  • Ability to work with no supervision and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) is an asset.
  • Data entry in an inventory management system (Syspro).
  • Previous experience in supply chain management is preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment with urgency to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to successfully pass the security assessment of employees who need to examine, possess, or transfer controlled goods or technology is required
