Shift/Schedule: Monday - Friday (Days: 6:00am-2:30pm) & (Afternoons: 2:45pm-11:15pm)
Compensation: $23.90/hr
Start Date: May 1st, to September 1st, 2026The Quality Assurance Technician II will provide quality assurance and food safety technical support through testing and auditing process documentation and data collection and analysis. In this role, you will collaborate to identify quality assurance issues and analyze data to uncover risks and support knowledge transfer.Principal Accountabilities
  • Conduct inspections of finished products or raw materials to identify trends in defects or errors and support more complex trials and experiments under intermediate supervision
  • Conduct documentation review of hazard analysis, food safety and quality documents
  • Assists in audits and shelf-life projects through testing, preparing reports and final summaries
  • Manage customer complaints and ensure appropriate actions and preventative measures are in place to prevent reoccurrence
  • Handle moderately complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under general supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must be currently legal to work in Canada
  • High school diploma, secondary education level or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Excellent writing and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of meat processing
  • Pursuing education in relevant field
