We are currently seeking a Room Attendant to join our opening team at Skye Hotel.This is an ideal opportunity for an energetic and passionate individual looking to build a career in hospitality as part of a close-knit team focused on delivering unique and meaningful guest experiences.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Room Attendant, you will play a key role in creating lasting first impressions and ensuring every guest room is clean, comfortable, and welcoming.Clean and sanitize assigned guest rooms and public areasMake beds, change linens, and remove soiled towels and garbageVacuum, dust, and clean furniture, bathrooms, and surfacesReplenish guest supplies and amenities in roomsFollow detailed cleaning standards for stayover and checkout roomsReport maintenance issues in guest rooms and public areasRecord completed rooms using mobile or tracking systemsCommunicate guest requests or concerns to housekeeping leadershipHandle lost and found items following hotel proceduresSupport deep cleaning projects when requiredFollow all health, safety, and hotel policies and proceduresWork weekends, holidays, and scheduled shiftsQualificationsPrevious housekeeping experience is an assetStrong communication and organizational skillsHigh attention to detail and cleanliness standardsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamReliable, responsible, and guest-focused attitudeAbility to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environmentPhysical RequirementsConstant standing and walking during shiftsFrequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbsRegular bending, kneeling, pushing, and pullingAbility to climb stairs and work on feet for long periodsAdditional RequirementsMust be legally eligible to work in CanadaFlexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidaysWe are committed to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and diverse workplace.
