Senior HR Generalist

• Full cycle HR responsibilities including: recruitment, onboarding, training, policies, procedures and benefits administration

• Provide guidance and advice on policies, procedures, laws, standards and regulations

• Coordinate with managers to ensure accurate and timely HR administration of new hires, departures, transfers, absence management, training records etc.

• Maintain positive working relationships with the collective bargaining agent, assisting managers with resolutions to grievances and attending labor management committee meetings as required

• Develop tools, systems and processes for the business based on an in-depth knowledge of the internal clients’ operational needs

• Facilitate performance management, change management and process improvement programs

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field, or the equivalent experience

• At least 7 years as a Human Resources Generalist

• Strong experience with metrics, analysis and report writing

• English-French bilingualism, both verbal and written, is an asset

• Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience applying employment standards and labor legislation in non-union environments

• Previous experience in industrial or commercial environments is a strong asset

• Mulit-site experience is a strong asset
