With over 3,800 employees and over 30 global manufacturing brands, AGI is a leading provider of equipment and technology solutions for agricultural commodities including seed, fertilizer, grain and feed systems and an expanding platform for food processing facilities.The OpportunityThe Production Supervisor will be responsible for providing supervision, administration, and technical direction to the area team members and ensure work is occurring in an efficient and effective manner. They ensures all Safety Standards will be followed, coordinates scheduling of crews and equipment. Must be able to communicate and co-ordinate between other departments divisionally and develop an atmosphere of teamwork and be able to resolve conflicts positively.The TeamReporting to the Production Manager.Responsibilities:
- Supervision of team members
- Managing team members time card use, including attendance, vacation time and overtime
- Assisting with the selection and orientation of new team members
- Ensuring training and development of team members takes place
- Conducting performance reviews of team members
- Cooperating with all areas within the company to ensure overall company goals are met
- Implementing cost-effective procedures and process improvements
- Follow AGI’s Code of Business Ethics and related compliance policies
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
- Experience in Manufacturing, Agriculture, Mechanical or Industrial industries
- Innovative, ability to identify and implement new processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the team and project.
- Developed communication skills, written/oral.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
