Employment Type: Permanent, Full-TimeOur client is seeking a Commercial Insurance Advisor to join their growing Farm and Commercial Insurance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced insurance professional who enjoys building relationships, servicing an established book of business, and expanding their portfolio.This role is available across multiple Alberta locations, including Cold Lake, St. Albert, Vegreville, and Lacombe, offering flexibility for candidates within these regions.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and service an existing commercial and farm insurance book of business, with opportunities to grow and develop new accountsProvide exceptional client service by offering professional insurance advice and addressing client questions or concernsReview incoming commercial documentation and provide processing instructionsPrepare quotes, assist with new business placements, and review existing coverage to ensure client needs are metMaintain accurate client records and update policy information as requiredPrepare documentation for insurers, complete applications for new policies, and issue insurance certificatesProcess endorsements and policy changes while ensuring timely follow-up on paymentsCommunicate with insurance carriers and negotiate with underwriters on behalf of clientsSupport the renewal process by negotiating terms and reviewing coverage optionsCoordinate with adjusters and follow up on claim statuses when necessaryGather and provide any additional underwriting information required to support policy placementsQualificationsHigh School Diploma required; Post-secondary education is considered an asset3-5 years of insurance industry experience, preferably in commercial or farm linesMinimum 2 years of client service experienceGeneral Insurance License required (or willingness to obtain upon hire)Experience with EPIC brokerage management system is an assetProficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Strong customer service and relationship-building skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExcellent analytical, organizational, verbal, and written communication skillsHow to ApplyPlease submit your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your commercial insurance experience, licence level, and why you're a great fit for this opportunity.Why Join Our ClientThis is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and growing organization that values collaboration, professionalism, and long-term relationships.
