Reporting to the Managing Director, Talent Business Partner, this role will be a key contributor in helping leaders deliver on their business plans through talent.Key Responsibilities:
  • Engages with people leaders, typically below Group head, in implementation of talent strategy and programs.
  • Provides advisory support and coaching to people leaders (mainly MD and below) on talent management programs.
  • Supports cyclical and business as usual talent processes, seeking opportunities for enhancements.
  • Independently manages projects or initiatives end-to-end, integrating stakeholder needs.
  • Partners with the centres of expertise to implement business-oriented solutions.
  • Acts as an escalation point for Talent Solutions and Services.
  • Brings themes and insights to the Talent Business Partner based on engagement with stakeholders.
  • Integrates understanding of domain and client expertise to assess risk and identify new ideas and solutions for broadly defined problems.
  • Contribute to Group and Department initiatives and projects.
Qualifications
  • Post -secondary education or Certificate in HR or other relevant discipline.
  • 5+ years experience within Human Resources, including within the HRBP function or as a generalist.
  • Knowledge of HR principles and practices, as well as performance management and employee relations sufficient to provide advice to people leaders and employees on more unique or non-standard issues.
  • Demonstrate the capability to apply judgement and experience to deliver effective solutions to colleague needs regarding defined processes or projects with minimal guidance.
  • Show an ability to listen actively and probe effectively within a conceptual framework to gain more sophisticated understanding of key business challenges.
  • Demonstrated strong presentation writing, researching, and analytical skills, combined with good judgement and sound business sense.
  • Able to self-start, prioritize and organize; a team player who enjoys a high-performance culture and able to meet deadlines and work well under pressure on multiple tasks.
