- Identify de-risking and value-creation opportunities across our direct investments (transportation, energy, and digital infrastructure).
- Drive and oversee implementation of value-creation initiatives with management teams and boards.
- Stress-test and shape company strategies and operating models.
- Onboard and support assets throughout the lifecycle, including 100-day plans; KPIs and targets setting; governance and monitoring frameworks; management incentives and assessments; and more.
- Develop, analyze, and interpret financial and operational information to diagnose performance, identify early-warning signals, and design de-risking plans.
- Lead cross-portfolio initiatives and synergies in selected functional areas.
- When required, lead and coordinate specific value-creation projects, including post-merger integrations (bolt-ons), refinancings, major contract renegotiations, management assessments, and exit preparation.
- Partner with senior leaders across CBRE to deliver strategic objectives.
- Support special projects, research, and initiatives related to portfolio investments.
- Mentor and develop less-experienced colleagues.
- 10+ years' mix of relevant management consulting (operational excellence, transformation, turnarounds), private equity, and/or operating experience.
- Sector experience in one or more: digital infrastructure (e.g., fiber-to-the-home/FTTH, wholesale telecom), renewables, transportation.
- Proven track record of delivering measurable financial impact (e.g., yield generation, revenue growth, margin expansion, EBITDA improvement, balance sheet optimization).
- Highly numerate with strong technical analytical skills; able to structure ambiguous problems, drive pragmatic decisions and actions, and shift between detail and a “helicopter” view.
- Exceptional relationship-building, senior-stakeholder management, and influencing skills, with meaningful C-suite and board exposure, especially in complex stakeholder environments.
- Rigorous prioritization skills.

- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in Canada without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
- Strong academic record with an undergraduate degree in a quantitative/STEM discipline; MBA (or equivalent advanced degree) from global tier 1 programs preferred.
- Experience developing and implementing 100-day plans and performing ongoing business-plan reviews.
- Experience evaluating and incentivizing management teams.
- Experience working in deal environments (e.g., due diligence, integration planning).
- Functional expertise in one or more: platform stand-ups, governance, organization design and compensation, procurement, Office of the CFO, enterprise IT architecture, HSE, CAPEX, Digital and Analytics, sustainability integration.
