- Operate the heavy equipment in a safe manner.
- Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
- Train new employees in the safe and efficient operation of the paver.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 2-3 years' experience as a heavy equipment operator
- 2-3 years' experience working on municipal and highway
- Maintains a valid Class 5 driver's license or better.
- Willing to work overtime, as required.
- Must comply with the company's drug & alcohol program, including testing requirement.
- In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSH guidelines.
- Ability to communicate and report effectively in a team environment.
