Job Title: Oversight EngineerLocation: Calgary or Edmonton (Hybrid)Our client is seeking an Oversight Engineer to join their team. As an Oversight Engineer, you will be part of the Major Projects Facilities Engineering Team supporting innovative projects. The ideal candidate will have strong planning skills, effective communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.Job Description:
  • Own and manage the relationship and contracts with Engineering services providers (ESP).
  • Lead the design review process with internal and external stakeholders ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and standards.
  • Support planning and scheduling during design and procurement phases of the project.
  • Provide technical support during all project phases, including development, design, construction, and commissioning.
  • Review lessons learned from past projects and incorporate recommendations into future designs.
Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in designing power distribution systems for Oil and Gas facilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • Professional Engineer designation with APEGA, or eligibility to register.
  • Proven planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of national codes and industry standards.
