The role of Site Superintendent involves overseeing a light industrial building addition construction project, ensuring it is completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This position is site based in the West Toronto / Mississauga area, and requires expertise in managing light industrial and commercial new build projects as part of a dedicated Construction team.
Supervise all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain workflow and resolve issues.
Oversee and enforce site safety protocols and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Manage site inspections and ensure quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide leadership and direction to site staff and subcontractors.
Prepare and maintain project schedules, progress reports, and documentation.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to address project updates and requirements.
Solve on-site challenges promptly and efficiently to avoid project delays.

Proven experience as an ICI GC Site Superintendent, particularly in light industrial and commercial new build projects.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and project management practices.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
A proactive and results-driven approach to project delivery.
Familiarity with construction technology and software tools.
