- Develop and customize Health Cloud objects, components, and integrations to support patient management and outcomes tracking, adhering to healthcare standards and privacy requirements
- Design and implement data-driven solutions, ensuring integrity, security, and compliance with PHIPA, PIPEDA, and provincial privacy regulations
- Lead technical design reviews, conduct peer code reviews, and mentor junior developers to maintain best practices and coding standards
- Participate in Agile delivery, automate business processes, and support CI/CD pipelines using Salesforce DX and related tools
- Provide Tier 2 production support, troubleshoot issues, and stay current with Salesforce releases and health tech trends to propose innovative solutions
- 3+ years of hands on development on the Salesforce Platform (Apex, LWC, Aura, Visualforce).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline or equivalent professional experience
- Salesforce Platform Developer I (required). Platform Developer II, Salesforce Health Cloud Accredited Professional, or MuleSoft Certified Developer are highly desirable
- Direct experience building solutions on Salesforce Health Cloud (patient, care plan, provider, household objects)
- Proven ability to integrate Salesforce with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs; exposure to MuleSoft or similar middleware; familiarity with HL7/FHIR is a strong plus
- Strong understanding of data modeling, sharing rules, OWD, field level security, and Canadian health privacy regulations (PHIPA, PIPEDA)
- Proficient with Salesforce DX, VS Code, Git, and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
- Experience working in Scrum or Kanban environments; comfortable writing user stories and acceptance criteria
- Prior experience in the home health, home care, or broader healthcare services sector
- Knowledge of Azure or AWS services and serverless architectures
- Experience with Experience Cloud/Communities for patient or caregiver portals
- Exposure to data migration tools (Data Loader, Jitterbit, Informatica)
- Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and patient centred UX design
