Application Deadline: September 9, 2025Position Title: Part-Time Direct Support Professional(s) - (Vineland)Nature of Position:We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professionals to join our team on a part-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate(s) will be tasked with providing a variety of personalized supports for individuals who currently reside in our Adult Supported Group Living Services. This role requires the highest quality of care and support is provided to our residents.Hours and Availability:
  • We are looking for someone to cover weekends, evenings & overnights
These part-time positions expect availability for pick-up of additional support hours when required.Responsibilities and Duties Include, but are not Limited to:Case Management and House/Team Responsibilities:
  • Assist with task assignments and contextual work explanation under the direction of the Team Lead.
  • Aid individuals in financial matters such as annual budget planning and tax preparation.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Individual Support Plans (ISP) and Person-Centered Plans (PCP).
  • Facilitate medication setup and reconciliation on a weekly basis.
  • Conduct home inspections and ensure compliance with regulations and agency policies.
Client Service:
  • Foster client-centered approaches to encourage skill development, self-determination, and community inclusion.
  • Provide personal care with respect for individual dignity and preferences.
  • Implement program activities and goals while networking within the community for inclusion opportunities.
Communication:
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders through various formats.
  • Provide positive feedback to clients, supervisors, and external parties.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and reporting in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Teamwork:

  • Participate in team meetings and share information for consistency of care.

Required Skills, Education, and Knowledge:
  • The candidate(s) must have education or experience focused in child development or early childhood education
  • Broad Sector Police clearance
  • A valid G driver's license and insurable by the agency’s insurance company.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to respond to individual needs and crisis situations in a calm, productive manner.
  • Well-developed organizational and communication skills are essential.
  • Experience working with and following Behaviour Support Plans (BSP’s) is considered an asset.
  • Must be available to work, days, evenings, sleep shifts, weekends, and, must be committed to be available for call in shifts.
