Our client, a leading Urban Indigenous Housing Corporation, is seeking a Maintenance Operations Manager to join their team. As a Maintenance Operations Manager, you will be part of the facilities operations supporting a dedicated maintenance team.   • Lead a maintenance team through training and mentorship to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Oversee scheduling and ensure ultimate efficiency in all maintenance operations.
  • Supervise maintenance operations and facilitate necessary repairs and upgrades.
  • Implement and oversee fire prevention programs to ensure safety across all facilities.
  • Manage vendor relationships and secure contracts to support maintenance activities.
What's Needed?
  • Experience in facilities operations or property management; 7 years is an asset.
  • Proven management capabilities as a leader in a maintenance environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, bylaws, fire prevention, OH&S, and Labour standards.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey information.
  • Understanding of building information and mechanical systems, along with proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and property management systems like Yardi.
