- Accounts Payable: Manage 10-15 invoices per day (received via email or download) and perform flawless 3-way matching.
- Payments & Banking: Handle check runs, EFTs, daily deposits, and posting for wire payments across multiple bank accounts and GLs (Canadian and U.S. currencies).
- Month-End Support: Partner with the Controller on key tasks like bank reconciliations, HST reconciliations, and expense reporting.
- Audit Assistance: Support interim and year-end audits (year-end wrapping up on Dec 31).
- Collection Confidence: Make courteous collection calls to ensure timely payments, resolving any issues swiftly.
- Process Improvements: Issue purchase orders, monitor intercompany transactions, and contribute to overall financial efficiency.
- Have previous experience in accounting or accounts payable (manufacturing industry knowledge a plus!).
- Be comfortable working in both CAD and USD currencies.
- Be proficient in accounting software with strong Excel skills.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills to make collection calls with confidence and professionalism.
- Show exceptional organizational skills and a meticulous approach to detail.
