The opportunity:Associated Engineering, a proudly Canadian, Employee-owned Company is seeking an experienced and dedicated Structural Technologist to join our team in our Edmonton office. In this role you will be responsible for design, drafting and construction inspection services for a variety of public and private sector clients with a focus on the buildings sector.What we offer:

What you’ll do:
  • The successful candidate will work with engineers and other technologists to provide design, drafting and construction inspection services for a variety of public and private sector clients with a focus on the buildings sector.
  • The successful candidate will gain experience in multiple market sectors which could include the following: education and research, government and emergency services, sport and recreation, healthcare, commercial and office space, and Arts and culture.
  • The ideal individual desires to make an impact on their workplace. You will have the opportunity to engage in a collaborative work environment with your team, as well as other disciplines and offices.
Does this sound like you?
  • Engineering Design Technology Diploma from an accredited technical institute.
  • Experience in computer-aided design and drafting of Structural projects is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Revit.
  • Knowledge of National and Provincial Building Codes is an asset.
  • Experience in construction administration is considered an asset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Committed team player.
  • Registration with ASET is an asset.
