My name is Fiona, a recruitment and business development consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in finance. I handle both temporary and permanent recruitment on the South Shore of Montreal. Our team of financial experts speaks your language and thrives in your field. We cover accounting, finance, and payroll.I am looking for a cost-of-revenue accountant for my client, a manufacturing company. This is a one-year temporary position in Vaudreuil-Dorion. The Cost Accountant performs duties related to the analysis and monitoring of inventories and raw materials. They also assist the Senior Cost Accountant in performing the required tasks.1. Reconcile general ledger accounts weekly;
2. Analyze raw material price variances;
3. Establish raw material cost standards quarterly;
4. Enter raw material costs into the upcoming Movex/M3 ERP software;
5. Analyze production orders weekly to identify and categorize production variances;
6. Prepare the monthly production variance report for the Finance Director;
7. Prepare and analyze weekly variance reports for the printing, converting, and finished goods departments;
8. Participate in a weekly meeting with the Conversion and Printing departments to discuss discrepancies and answer questions;
9. Track open work orders from the Research and Development (R&D) and Continuous Improvement departments to determine monthly expenses;
10. Prepare the R&D work order summary for annual tax credits;
11. Participate in month-end work;
12. Assist the Senior Cost of Revenue Accountant with tasks as needed;
13. Perform all other tasks required by their immediate supervisor.Preferred Qualifications
➢College diploma in accounting or business administration;
➢Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment (a strong asset);
➢Good knowledge of Excel software (advanced functions);
➢Bilingualism (oral and written English) is essential.Required Skills and Abilities

➢Demonstrates autonomy;
