Thanks to our ability to offer a wide range of services, we help our clients complete projects that meet the challenges of sustainable development while setting new standards of excellence in the field.This role will be based in North York, ON.Your role within the team:Under the supervision of the Acoustics and Vibrations Team Leader, the Noise and Vibration Professional will assist Project Managers for the following tasks:
  • Undertake field noise and vibration measurements and data analysis.
  • Conduct impact, compliance, and noise reduction studies for industrial, road, rail, transportation, institutional projects, etc.
  • Perform sound propagation calculations indoors and outdoors using specialized software.
  • Evaluate mitigation measures and verify their performance.
  • Write and contribute to study reports..

The ideal candidate:
  • University degree in engineering or science.
  • Up to 2 years of experience in acoustics and vibrations.
  • Theoretical knowledge in acoustics and vibration fundamentals, including human perception, sound propagation in free and reverberant fields, and general noise and vibration control methods.
  • Knowledge of basic measurement methods for sound pressure and vibration.
  • Spoken and written English proficiency. Knowledge of spoken and written French is considered an asset.
  • Driver's license and car and Valid passport (*).
(*) Assignment:A regular full-time position, 40 hours per week. The workplace is located in Toronto; however, the position requires night and day travel to conduct field surveys.
