- Develop and lead mechanical system designs for projects of varying size and complexity.
- Coordinate work with project teams and provide guidance to junior and intermediate designers.
- Review client requirements and develop practical, cost-effective design solutions.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers throughout the design process.
- Assist with equipment selection and preparation of design drawings, reports, and specifications.
- Support project delivery by monitoring schedules and coordinating technical documentation.
- 5+ years designing HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial, multi-residential, or institutional buildings.
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline (PMP considered an asset).
- Solid understanding of building systems coordination and construction documentation.
- Knowledge of relevant building and plumbing codes.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
