- Provide comprehensive virtual consultations for patients on their weight management journey
- Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating both medical and lifestyle interventions
- Prescribe and manage appropriate medications for weight loss when appropriate
- Offer evidence-based lifestyle recommendations and wellness strategies, including nutrition and exercise guidance
- Coordinate care with other healthcare providers and make appropriate referrals
- Maintain detailed electronic health records
- Participate in team meetings and case discussions
- Preventive health strategies incorporating mental health support, chronic disease management, and overall well-being optimization related to weight management
- Collaborating with a dynamic team that supports individuals in their journey towards sustainable weight management
- Experiencing the flexibility of working virtually, while also breaking down barriers to weight management care access for Canadians
- Providing high quality, rewarding care to individuals seeking support with their weight and overall health

- Licensed Nurse Practitioner with experience in weight management
- Minimum 3 years of specialized experience in weight management or related fields
- Demonstrated proficiency in virtual healthcare delivery platforms
- Strong understanding of current weight management research and treatment options
- Excellence in virtual patient communication and assessment
- Patient-centered approach to care delivery
- Exceptional listening and empathy skills
- Ability to provide holistic care addressing physical, emotional, and lifestyle factors related to weight
