Your role
I am currently recruiting for one of my clients, a civil engineering and heavy equipment management company near Drummondville, for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic - Permanent, full-time position - Competitive salary based on experience and training.Reporting to the shop supervisor, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining a constantly evolving fleet of heavy machinery: wheel loaders of all sizes, off-road trucks, excavators, cranes, aerial lifts, drills, and more.You will work in a safe, structured, and well-equipped environment, within a team of experienced professionals who value collaboration and shared decision-making.Main responsibilities:
Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on various types of heavy equipment.Conduct safety inspections and follow up on corrective actions.Work closely with the team to ensure maximum equipment availability and performance.Keep your workstation clean and comply with safety standards and internal procedures.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance team.Candidate Profile
Your professional skills
Strong background in off-road heavy vehicle mechanics.Detail-oriented, autonomous, and reliable.Solid understanding of industrial safety standards.Your background
