- Provide expertise, insight, leadership and supervision to IT and contract staff in the deployment of production and preproduction hosting environments;
- Leading the provisioning, deployment, and support of production and pre-production cloud environments;
- Managing capacity planning, forecasting, and resource scheduling to ensure optimal performance and availability;
- Monitoring cloud usage metrics, analyzing trends, and delivering insights through dashboards and reporting;
- Collaborating with project and operational teams to design, refine, and deliver infrastructure solutions;
- Evaluating and approving environment requests, ensuring solutions are right-sized, cost-effective, and aligned with standards;
- Provide leadership and input into software and hardware lifecycle management (evergreen or waterfall) reporting and replacement project planning;
- Facilitating the transition of environments into sustainment, production, and disaster recovery;
- Maintaining accurate infrastructure documentation and contributing to CMDB repositories;
- Ensuring environments meet performance, reliability, and service level requirements;
- Identifying and mitigating security and operational risks within cloud environments;
- Ensuring compliance with organizational policies, standards, and best practices;
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of IT professionals and contractors;
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems or an IT related discipline from a recognized college or technical school and/or significant professional experience in Information Technology
- 4+ years of experience leading diverse technical teams
- 4+ years of experience administering Microsoft Azure and M365, leading cloud migrations, and managing enterprise SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS environments, including backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions;1+ year of experience in DevOps toolsets
