THE TEAMThe mission of the Supply Chain Engineering Department is to architect a resilient Supply Chain Network that enables business scalability for today and tomorrow.THE OPPORTUNITYAs a leader of the Supply Chain Engineering Department, you will lead and motivate the team responsible for developing engineered solutions, which drive the scalable development of our Supply Chain network. You will play a pivotal role in developing solutions to design, implement and scale Distribution Centre operations. With people at the heart of everything we do, you will support your high-potential people to grow rewarding careers at Aritzia—while enjoying one yourself.THE ROLEAs the Director, Solution Design, you will:Integrate business requirements into facility and equipment scenarios and plans that enable business scalabilityDevelop conceptual and detailed Material Handling Equipment (MHE) solution designs to evaluate throughput and cost optionsLead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of technology solutions, including MHE (e.g., conveyors, robotics, modular automation) and manual equipmentCreate conceptual and detailed layouts of new or retrofit distribution facilities based on business needsExecute equipment maintenance methods and procedures to enable business needsWork with the appropriate Business Support partners to seamlessly lead the day-to-day function of the department in support of corporate objectives, while enabling progressive career development and an incredible employee experienceTHE QUALIFICATIONSThe Director, Solution Design has:Proven skills, education, and/or applicable certifications in AutoCAD; business intelligence tools; Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Access; technical engineering; and warehouse automation and material handling systemsA commitment to learn and apply Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principlesThe ability to collaborate fluently with cross-functional partnersA commitment to quality and investing in results that add value to the businessTHE PERKSSome of the industry-leading benefits you will receive working at Aritzia:Product Discount – Maybe you’ve heard of our famous product discount?
