- Lead crews to safely stabilize and remediate properties affected by environmental hazards.
- Perform environmental remediation work including mould remediation and asbestos abatement in accordance with regulations and company standards.
- Set up, maintain, and monitor containments, negative air systems, and other environmental controls.
- Complete selective demolition and removal of environmentally impacted building materials.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to health and safety protocols at all times.
- Document site conditions, readings, and daily work activities accurately.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to urgent environmental and emergency situations.
- 3+ years' experience in environmental remediation or restoration, including experience leading a team.
- Strong knowledge of environmental remediation practices, containment, and site safety.
- Experience working with mould and asbestos-containing materials.
- Current IICRC certification (AMRT, WRT, or equivalent).
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel out of town when required.
- Ownership of basic hand tools and cordless power tools.
- Successful completion of a criminal record check upon hire.
- Ability to carry at least 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments.
- Ability to wear full PPE, including respirators, when required.
- Additional IICRC certifications such as AMRT, ASD, FSRT, OCT, or CCT.
- Formal asbestos abatement training and certification.
- Experience with air monitoring, negative air systems, and environmental controls.
- Experience with contents tracking software like Encircle or Assured Pack-out.
- Construction or demolition experience.
- First Aid certification.
